The ICT Infrastructure Development directorate oversees the regulatory aspects of the ICT infrastructure rollout and operations by telecommunications operators. The responsibilities of the directorate are three-fold:
Formulation of ICT infrastructure development guidelines
Telecommunications standards review and type approval of terminal equipment
Enforcement of national telecommunication operator’s license conditions on rollout and quality of service

Requirements for type approval of all terminal equipment are stipulated in Chapter IX Article 42 Telecom Law No. 44/2001. Given below is the link of applications forms pertaining to type approval processes.
